ESSCO Group undertook the comprehensive installation of approximately 3,700 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch sewer gravity line, 1,400 LF of 8-inch sewer gravity line, and 26 manholes ranging from 48 inches in diameter. This project also included the installation of 49 private and commercial sewer services and 510 LF of steel casing.
Key Challenges and Solutions:
- Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE): Extensive SUE was implemented in the design phase to ensure precise alignment assessment and avoid conflicts with existing utilities. This proactive approach minimized potential delays and ensured the integrity of the new sewer infrastructure.
- Traffic Control Plan: The development and implementation of an extensive traffic control plan were critical due to the project's location within the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Right of Way (ROW) in a heavily trafficked commercial corridor. Our team meticulously coordinated with TxDOT and local authorities to manage traffic flow, ensuring minimal disruption to the public and businesses in the area.
- Complex Installation: The project demanded careful planning and execution to install the steel casing and sewer lines without compromising the existing infrastructure. Our experienced team utilized advanced techniques and equipment to achieve this seamlessly.
