Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank Evaluation, Site Assessment and Removal
Identify Leaking PSTs, Sites, and Assess Risks to create plan to minimize harm to human and environmental life
The leaking petroleum storage tank evaluation objective is to recognize and assess potential leaks from storage tanks containing hazardous substances such as petroleum products that may cause harm to human life. The evaluation provides early detection of contamination to the surrounding soil and groundwater, subsequently minimizing environmental damage and enabling timely remediation actions if a leak is detected. The remediation action may include the removal and disposal of the storage tank (aboveground/underground).
