Asbestos Containing Material Survey and Abatement
Analyze old residences and buildings to bring structures into compliance with EPA, and local guidelines and standards.
Many homes and buildings built before mid-1970 generally contain asbestos. In mid-1989 EPA issued a final rule under Section 6 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) banning most asbestos-containing products. The asbestos survey’s objective is to identify the presence, location, and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) within a building. If ACM is identified, the abatement process begins to remove the ACM from the building.
