Trench Safety Plans

Trench Safety Plans

Generate Trench Safety Plans for excavation work 5 feet and deeper

Do you need to perform an excavation? Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that any excavation deeper than five (5) feet should have a Trench Safety Plan for any excavation work. The plans describe the protective system to be implemented to protect workers from cave-ins. Such plans require soil characteristics and types of protective measures (i.e. Trench Box, Benching, or Sloping).
