Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure
ESSCO will generate a SPCC to meet EPA, TCEQ and other state standards for projects
Facilities containing hazardous and corrosive chemicals must have a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan to help prevent a discharge of chemicals into navigable waters (or adjoining shorelines). The plan as required by the EPA and TCEQ outlines each chemical present, where each chemical is stored, and how much of each chemical is stored. Additionally, access to each chemical should be provided to ease removal in the event of a spill.
